FREE COFFEE ON TAP! I travel for work all over Manitoba and Ontario and I can genuinely say this was the best hotel work has chosen to date! Every single staff member that I encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms had everything and more that was required for a week long stay. The free continental breakfast had hot eggs, meat and potatoes as well as many other delicious options but nothing, I say NOTHING can beat iced coffee on tap. This guest service alone would justify the ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ but combined with the cleanliness and friendliness, this is my #1 recommendation for accommodations in Kenora.
Nothing fancy but a comfortable place to spend the night. Clean room and friendly staff. Decent breakfast. The showerhead was not great but gets the job done.
The updated hotel is great looking and the breakfast in the morning is more than expected. The rooms are clean and updated as well, looking good. The room cleaners need to check over things a little better though, I was out of tissue and hair conditioner in the shower. It wasn't a big deal to me but still needs to be fixed.
I stayed here over the weekend to attend a wedding near by. Room was very clean/nice and staff were friendly. Check in and check out were very quick and hassle free. Location was very quiet despite being next to a busy road. Many amenities near by. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kenora.
Upon coming here, we had accidentally mixed up the dates when we booked online and the lady at the front desk (bless her heart) helped us out big time! She got us a room for that night and helped us with the whole situation. Excellent service! Rooms were great, soft pillows. Our one blanket had a stain of some sort but it didn’t bug us too much. Just tucked it away. Other than that, we had a great experience with a couple of does coming by for a visit. The lady at the front desk in the morning when we got our breakfast bags was excellent too! Super friendly employees!! Thanks so much
After reading some of the reviews I was skeptical. With that said, I wouldn't take them all to heart. We had a wonderful stay! Room was clean, staff very friendly, and the breakfast was one of the best I ever seen for a 2 star hotel!! Both hot and cold options. Never seen fresh banana bread out at any other hotel. We stayed at some questionable hotels along our trabels but LOVED our stay here! I'd without a doubt, rebook here, every time. Pet friendly as well
Staff was helpful, they have a strict check-in time (completely acceptable). 2 floor hotel (no elevator) and some of the downstairs rooms are a sliding glass door that faces where you park. They are in the process of updating a lot of the rooms and they looked good! I'm pretty picky with my hotels and the prior ratings did not seem to match. My room was very clean, the bed had the perfect comfort for me (medium firm) and there were no sags in the mattress. Had extra pillows that didn't go as flat as a towel when you put your head on it. Extra towels were given and the water was HOT. Perhaps the shower water pressure could have been a little better but I really have no complaints about the room. Internet was a bit on the slow side but I was able to stream movies with minimal buffering. Breakfast was not very exciting, I like to grab and go and most days I didn't grab any food really. If I went back I would like to try some other places, but I wouldn't be upset to stay here again at all.

Honestly, not really anything negative to say about my stay, other than the coffee in the lobby was cold and stale, and my neighbours on the 2nd night were super noisy... Other than that it was a comfortable stay. The rooms were pretty modern and everything was spotless.
